Being part of the UCD Choral Scholars, working with Des, was a highlight of my time at collage. When I think back I have such happy memories! Meeting to rehearse with the choral scholars was never a chore, always a pleasure. It was fun, musically challenging at times but always a worthwhile experience. I was lucky enough to be with Des and the choral scholars on a trip to Rome where we sang for the Pope in St Peter’s, not many people can say that! We sang on RTÉ Lyric fm, we won competitions, we sang at Sunday services, we performed in concerts, it was jam packed! I met some wonderful people and am so glad I went to audition that day back in 2000.\r\n\r\nAfter college, I went on to sing professionally with The National Chamber Choir of Ireland, singing with that choir for just over two years: we traveled all over the world with the NCC of Ireland, performing in Prague, Poland, Germany, Brazil and China. My career path has changed somewhat over the last few years and I am now the proud owner of Bambini Montessori School! I set up the school in September 2009 and it has gone from strength to strength. It is a unique pre-school experience for children who learn through the Montessori method of education and music. Music is an integral part of the day in school and we also have daily music classes for all the children. All of my musical experiences, including my time with the UCD choral scholars have helped me achieve what I have done to this day!
